Photography
I have always had an interest in photography but the truth be told I have never had the time/equipment to focus on it more seriously. With building a website I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to purchase a new camera so that I could take some shots and use them to populate the content on my new site.
Canon EOS 1200D DSLR
So after doing some research and searching around to see what was best to buy for someone just starting out, I bit the bullet and bought myself a brand spanking new digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera. I opted to purchase a starter bundle pack from PC World which included a canon EOS 1200D DSLR with an 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens. Also bundled in with the package was an additional 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 Telephoto Zoom Lens, a CANON 100EG Deluxe Gadget DSLR Camera Bag and a twin pack of PNY High Performance 10 SD 32GB Memory Cards. Hopefully my new camera will provide me a gateway to better photography enabling me to capture images with more depth, detail and creativity.
I am hoping to spend time getting to grips with all the different settings that the camera offers and getting more familiar with photo editing software such as Photoshop to edit/enhance my pictures professionally.
Quality Notice
All photographs that have been uploaded to my site have been resized and compressed to increase load times for optimal use with the web. However, as a result of compression it has unfortunately meant that the image quality has been significantly reduced from the original photograph that was taken.
Usage Notice
If you would like to use any of my photographs then please contact me for permission to do so. Once I have agreed for you to use my images I will provide you with the original file which will be a much higher quality image. In addition, for any of my images that are used elsewhere, please credit me as the original source and provide a reference to my website (www.paulrgriffiths.co.uk).
