Wrexham Signs, based in the Wrexham, North Wales is a family run business that has been in operation for over forty six years. The work that they perform helps to put their customers into the public eye and whether it’s a billboard on a busy main road or having your company vehicle wrapped – they can do it.
As their business continued to grow Wrexham Signs wanted to build an online presence so they got in touch with H4interactive to request some help with developing a brand new website. As it happened they got in touch during the time that I was completing my work placement and Roger decided that it would be an ideal opportunity for me to take on my first ever Live Umbraco project, under his watchful eye of course :)
Using Umbraco as the core foundation for the build we soon built them a dynamic content management website allowing them to update their all websites content by themselves. We designed the site using the companies own branding which helps to portray the nature of the work that they carry out. Including a wide array of images into the design and via galleries was a good way to get the companies message across to the viewing public.
Umbraco is easy to learn and use, making it perfect for the editors of the website to easily become familiar with it. After providing the client with some training they were soon up to speed and were controlling the website without any assistance.
